We took our daughter back home to Columbus last night after her accident on the 30th. So thankful we have our walking, talking daughter. We apologize for the lack of posting the past 2 weeks as we put our business on hold for her. We are still here. Thriving and moving forward. We are very close to providing our customers with competitive pricing, a 8 page sale flyer monthly, easier, better check outs with our new POS and hopefully the return of our Cafe with its delicious, gluten free healthy lunches. Make sure to interact with our pages and like our posts so you don't miss out on our "Grand Sale" when we debut our new flyer! #feelingblessed #saleflyer #wabash #healthfood #movingforward #missiontohelpothers #healthyfood with @infretailers #help #weloveourcustomers
WOW! Hemp is the miracle plant of our time, breathing in 4x the carbon dioxide (CO2) of trees during it's quick 12-14 week growing cycle. Trees take 20 years to mature vs 4 months for Industrial Hemp! Our forests are being cut down 3x faster than they can grow! One acre of hemp produces as much cellulose fiber pulp as 4.1 acres of trees!!! (Dewey & Merrill. Bulletin #404. U.S. Dept. of Age. 1916) #trees #hemp #hempweek #education
Given the drug’s growing popularity, many people have long been concerned about its potential dangers and, in particular, whether it can be addictive. People tend to use “addiction” and “dependence” interchangeably, although drug experts now favor the term “dependence.” In the current version of the mental health profession’s “bible,” the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, a diagnosis of cannabis dependence (a type of substance dependence) requires a person to meet at least three of seven criteria.
A number of investigators have addressed this issue and found that only a relatively small percentage of those who try marijuana will become addicted. For example, in a large-scale survey published in 1994 epidemiologist James Anthony, then at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and his colleagues asked more than 8,000 people between the ages of 15 and 64 about their use of marijuana and other drugs. The researchers found that of those who had tried marijuana at least once, about 9 percent eventually fit a diagnosis of cannabis dependence. The corresponding figure for alcohol was 15 percent; for cocaine, 17 percent; for heroin, 23 percent; and for nicotine, 32 percent. So although marijuana may be addictive for some, 91 percent of those who try it do not get hooked. Further, marijuana is less addictive than many other legal and illegal drugs. #hemp #education #hempweek
What is CBD?
Lately, we are seeing more and more research and stories in the news about what CBD can do to benefit health, lifestyle and illness. But it is still a product that is often shrouded in mystery and misconceptions. This confusion can be mostly attributed to the fact that CBD can be harvested from the hemp or cannabis plant. https://healthyhempoil.com/hemp-cbd-vs-cannabis-cbd/ #cbd #hemp #local #education
Your $ has buying power. New article says"Kroger is falling behind its competition in this department. In the past year, competitors Wal-mart, Costco, and Whole Foods Market have chosen to eliminate neonicotinoids from their stores, joining 110 retailers nationwide in rejecting the pesticide. “Kroger’s bottom line will suffer if doesn’t take steps to address its contribution to the bee crisis,” said Tiffany Finck-Haynes, food futures campaigner with Friends of the Earth, in the press release. “Polling shows the majority of consumers believe grocery stores should eliminate these harmful pesticides.”" #savethebees #beinformed #wabash #wheredoyoushop
