25 years ago they operated a conventional farm using industrial agricultural practices. However, as a result of a family crisis, they made radical changes in their farming practice.

Today the farm is certified USDA organic. The animals are grass-fed, no hormones, steroids or antibiotics, GMO-free, pasture-raised, and free of gluten, soy, dairy, and MSG.
